Mr. Rodriguez attended the State University of New York, College of Geneseo graduating with a B.A. degree in English in 1993. He received his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law (Hofstra University) in 1997. In 2021, Mr. Rodriguez received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia Law School (Columbia University). Mr. Rodriguez graduated with honors from Columbia Law School receiving the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar designation for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Prior to starting his own law firm in 2001, Mr. Rodriguez obtained his real estate litigation experience by working as an Associate in the Real Estate Department of Fein Such Kahn & Shepard representing various institutional lenders including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, JP Morgan Chase and Citibank. As an associate, he appeared in both the state and federal courts of New Jersey.
Mr. Rodriguez has also practiced general real estate law as an Associate General Counsel for a major telecommunications company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida between 2016 and 2018.
Mr. Rodriguez is currently licensed as a real estate broker in New York and Florida and provides real estate brokerage services through Wylie Realty Group, Inc. in both states.
Mr. Rodriguez is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Florida and Hawaii. Mr. Rodriguez is also licensed to practice law in the Federal Courts of New Jersey and Hawaii as well as the United States District Court for the Southern Districts of New York and Florida. Mr. Rodriguez was admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court in 2001.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Hawaii State Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.
